The Organizing Committee of the 2025 CSEB conference invites proposals for pre-conference workshops in areas of relevance to epidemiology and biostatistics. These will be held prior to the main conference, on Monday August 11, 2025. Workshops are open to all, and are typically well attended by students and early-career researchers. They will be offered over a three-hour period.  

The proposal should include:

• Title of the workshop
• The proposed speakers 
• An outline of the workshop and how it will benefit the conference attendees/community
• The target audience
• Proposed workshop format, activities, and preferred schedule 
• Three learning objectives that address what the participants will take away from the workshop

The Organizing Committee of the 2025 CSEB conference invites participants interested in organizing a mini-symposium to submit proposals on topics relevant to the conference theme, Epidemiology & Biostatistics: Innovating for better health. These will be held prior to the main conference, on Monday August 11, 2025. 

The proposal should include:

• Mini-symposium title
• Mini-symposium organizer(s) information  
• Mini-symposium abstract including background and significance
• Description of diversity among the presenters  
• Mini-symposium presenters’ information  
• Brief description of the presentation
